The People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections or PAFFEREL organization in a letter to the Chairman of the Election Commission states that since there is no legal obstacle to the Election Commission to announce the local government election, it is expected that the election will be announced within this week.
In the current political climate, if the government procrastinates without announcing the election,
if the government creates a legal barrier to postpone the election, the Election Commission should take responsibility for it.
The letter sent by the PAFFREL to the Election Commission states that since the 21st Amendment of the Constitution has been passed, there is no obstacle to holding an election and the Attorney General needs to inquire about it.
