On February 15, Kollupitiya police had sealed the office of Public Utility Commission Chairman Mr. Janaka Ratnayake in Kollupitiya. 

 

The chairman of the Public Utilities Commission was out of the island when the police sealed his office on a court order.
 

The Fort Magistrate’s Court was informed yesterday that the police sealed the office and took many documents in their custody and it was confirmed that there was no illegal or anti-government document among those documents.

However, the police have informed the court that further investigations will be carried out.
