Party leaders to meet today; LG Polls to be discussed

A special party leaders meeting is scheduled to be held today (01) at 1.30 pm at the Parliamentary Complex.

All the party secretaries have also been informed to participate in the meeting of the party leaders.
 

The next week’s affairs of parliament and the next steps to be taken in relation to the local government elections are scheduled to be discussed during the meeting.

In the meantime, MP Tissa Attanayake said the Speaker has been requested to summon the Finance Ministry Secretary to the party leaders meeting.
